Objectives

The objectives of the International Advisory Board shall be to advance the strategic goals
and objectives of the Bertram Broberg Memorial Fund:

1. to honour Bertram’s memory;
2. to promote continuing work on the many ideas which he shared so generously withstudents and colleagues throughout his lifetime;
3. to maintain a website to publicise and promote the Fund and its objectives;
4. to organise a series of specially commissioned Bertram Broberg Lectures by world-class scientists at major scientific conferences, symposia and congresses; to support, wherever feasible, Bertram Broberg Memorial Symposia;
5. to oversee the awarding of the Bertram Broberg Medal by the UCD College of Engineering, Mathematical and Physical Sciences.
